Pictures of Fruit and Trees, Nov 24

Hurricane Wilma damage evident on large vertical  branch of this mango tree.
We're in the process of grafting a popular variety onto healthy shoots before eliminating damaged wood.

We have one off-season jak fruit.

Two of our mango varieties have small pea-sized fruit.

Mamey sapote... still many months from being ready to pick.

A few sugar apples that might be ready in late December or January.

Very small Sapodilla...probably some will be ready in January.

Two stages of Caimito development.  Fruit should be ready in March.

Miracle fruit with fruit and flowers.

Our own Avocado variety is ready to pick now.

Black Sapote should be ready in December.

Beyond Mango Season

Fruit for sale today include atemoya, avocado, carambola, and a few sapodilla, longan and sugar apple.

Here in the grove we are busy planting new trees and grafting different varieties onto existing trees.
If you have any space to plant something, consider planting a fruit tree.  The sooner the better!
