Mango Season 2014 is over
We sold the last mangos this morning.
Next Saturday we should have some atemoya, a few sugar apple, longan and carambola. Another variety of Jak Fruit might be available.
It's impossible to predict when mangos will first be available in 2015, so check the blog. Usually our earliest mango is ripe sometime in April. Of course we will have other fruit available throughout the winter.

Fire and Rain
Yesterday seemed like a tribute to James Taylor.
I had ten minutes of mowing to do. Almost immediately it began to rain. After a few minutes of downpour, I figured I couldn't get any wetter. I was wrong. I wrung out clothes and dumped my shoes, and waited for the rain to pass.
Next I decided to try out the Weed Dragon. This gizmo runs off a propane tank, and is billed as a "natural and safe" way to kill weeds. I'm pretty sure the Weed Dragon legal department didn't endorse that slogan. If you decide to use one of these, read the directions before using.
More details to follow.
